Directions to the Chapel at Red Rocks

From the Quality Suites of Evergreen:

Turn Right out of Hotel Parking Lot
Turn Right at Traffic Light (this is CO-74 mile marker 0).
Take CO-74 East toward Morrison until mile marker 18.
Turn Left onto Bear Creek Ave. The Chapel at Red Rocks will be straight ahead.

You will see a brown Red Rocks Parks sign followed by a green Morrison sign followed by a brown National Historic District sign on your right, just before you need to make the left turn onto Bear Creek Ave. If you see the first traffic light in Morrison you have gone too far.

From Points East of Denver:

Take I-70 West to the CO-470 Exit, (Exit 260)
Merge onto CO-470 East towards Colorado Springs for 4.4 miles.
Take the CO-8/Morrison Rd exit.
Turn Right onto Morrison Road (CO-8).
Take Morrison Road (CO-8) for 0.9 miles. (Morrison Rd becomes Bear Creek Road (CO-74).
Turn Right (just past a brown Red Rocks Parks sign) onto Bear Creek Ave. The Chapel at Red Rocks will be straight ahead.

From Points West of Denver:

Take I-70 East to the CO-470 Exit, (Exit 260).
Merge onto CO-470 East towards Colorado Springs for 4.4 miles.
Take the CO-8/Morrison Rd exit.
Turn Right onto Morrison Road (CO-8).
Take Morrison Road (CO-8) for 0.9 miles. (Morrison Rd becomes Bear Creek Road (CO-74).
Turn Right (just past a brown Red Rocks Parks sign) onto Bear Creek Ave. The Chapel at Red Rocks will be straight ahead.

From Points North of Denver:

Take I-25 South to the I-70 Exit, (Exit 214B).
Take I-70 West towards Grand Junction for 13.3 miles until the CO-470 Exit, (Exit 260).
Merge onto CO-470 East towards Colorado Springs for 4.4 miles.
Take the CO-8/Morrison Rd exit.
Turn Right onto Morrison Road (CO-8).
Take Morrison Road (CO-8) for 0.9 miles. (Morrison Rd becomes Bear Creek Road (CO-74).
Turn Right (just past a brown Red Rocks Parks sign) onto Bear Creek Ave. The Chapel at Red Rocks will be straight ahead.

From Points South of Denver:

Take I-25 North to the C-470 Exit, (Exit 194).
Merge onto CO-470 West towards Grand Junction for 21.8 miles.
Take the CO-8/Morrison Rd exit.
Turn Left onto Morrison Road (CO-8).
Take Morrison Road (CO-8) for 0.9 miles. (Morrison Rd becomes Bear Creek Road (CO-74).
Turn Right (just past a brown Red Rocks Parks sign) onto Bear Creek Ave. The Chapel at Red Rocks will be straight ahead.

From Rt 285 in Denver:

Take RT 285 South to the C-470 (West) Exit.
Merge onto CO-470 West towards I-70 for 1.4 miles.
Take the CO-8/Morrison Rd exit.
Turn Left onto Morrison Road (CO-8).
Take Morrison Road (CO-8) for 0.9 miles. (Morrison Rd becomes Bear Creek Road (CO-74).
Turn Right (just past a brown Red Rocks Parks sign) onto Bear Creek Ave. The Chapel at Red Rocks will be straight ahead.

From Evergreen:

Take CO-74 East toward Morrison.
Turn Left onto Bear Creek Ave. The Chapel at Red Rocks will be straight ahead.

Directions to the Evergreen Conference Center

Both the Chapel at Red Rocks (at the 18 mile marker) and the Evergreen Conference Center (at the 8 mile marker), are conveniently located off Colorado Highway 74. Note: The entrance to the parking lot at the Evergreen Conference Center in not off of CO-74, and requires you to drive around (see map above). Sit back and enjoy this scenic drive up Bear Creek Canyon, as you will start out in Morrison, pass through the small towns of Idledale and Kittredge, and end up in Evergreen. The total distance is 10.6 miles and should take 20-25 minutes. The route you will be taking is highlighted in red on the map below, traveling between the two stars, from right to left.

Leave the Chapel Parking Lot whith feeds into Bear Creek Ave.
Take Bear Creek Ave heading Southeast.
Turn right onto Bear Creek Road (CO-74).
Stay on CO-74 for 10 miles.
Turn right onto Meadow Dr. (Bradley Gas Station on the corner).
Stay on Meadow Dr. for 0.2 miles.
Turn right onto Iris Dr. (first right).
Stay on Iris Dr. for 0.3 miles.
Turn right onto Fireweed Dr. (first right).
Travel 0.1 miles. The Conference Center will be on the right.

Leaving the Evergreen Conference Center

To the Quality Suites of Evergreen

Leave the Conference Center Parking Lot, and make a left onto Fireweed Dr.
Take Fireweed Dr. for 0.1 miles.
Turn left onto Iris Dr. (first left).
Stay on Iris Dr. for 0.3 miles.
Turn left onto Meadow Dr.
Stay on Meadow Dr. for 0.2 miles.
Turn right onto CO-74 at the Bradley Gas Station.
Stay on CO-74 for 8.0 miles.
Turn left at the Traffic Light by the Amoco Gas Station and McDonalds (just before I-70)
The Quality Suites will be on your left.

To I-70 (West or East), C-470, I-25 (North of South)

The best way to leave the Evergreen Conference Center is to get on I-70. I-70 will take you west or east, and intersects with C-470 and I-25 to take you to locations North and South. Take I-70 East for C-470 or I-25.

Leave the Conference Center Parking Lot, and make a left onto Fireweed Dr.

Take Fireweed Dr. for 0.1 miles.

Turn left onto Iris Dr. (first left).

Stay on Iris Dr. for 0.3 miles.

Turn left onto Meadow Dr.

Stay on Meadow Dr. for 0.2 miles.

Turn right onto CO-74 at the Bradley Gas Station.

Stay on CO-74 for 8.0 miles.

You will see signs for I-70 East and I-70 West, just before the McDonalds.
